Agora Portals International School
Agora Portals is situated in the municipality of Calvià in Portals Nous, just 10 kilometres away from Majorca’s capital city, Palma. It was founded in 2008 and it was the first school in the region to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma. Agora Portals offers the only Integrated Music School.

The first international school in the Balearic Islands

At Agora Portals International School, English is central to the curriculum and is the main language for teaching and learning alongside Catalan and Spanish; students work towards qualifications in English via Trinity College or Cambridge English Examinations.
At pre-university level Agora Portals offers two branches of the Spanish Bacherillato (Science, Arts and Humanities and Social Science), and it was the first school in the Balearic Islands to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma.
Agora Portals is renowned amongst Globeducate for its excellent arts and music programmes, the music school in particular being of an exceptionally high standard. Agora Portals offers comprehensive musical training to all its students, helping each student to focus on their specific gifts and talents. As an Integrated Music Centre, all students achieve an Elementary level qualification in music, the first step on the road to accessing further higher level musical studies.
Agora Portals International School was the first in the Balearic Islands certified to deliver the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) at Post-16 level and it is currently the first school in the province to be accepted as an applicant school for the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP).
