Student Leadership Summit
The Student Leadership Summit is an annual event that gathers senior students from Globeducate schools worldwide who hold leadership positions in their schools. The summit, held at Stonar School in England, is designed to challenge students' thinking and leadership styles, fostering personal growth, skill development, and international friendships.
The summit covers essential leadership topics such as public speaking, communication, problem-solving, and professional etiquette.
Through a series of seminars, workshops, and interactive activities, students are encouraged to reflect on their own leadership styles and learn from the diverse perspectives of their peers.
The three days really pushed me out of my comfort zone and it is really important to meet new people every so often – it puts you in a good mindset to get geared up for life beyond school. I am sure I will feel more confident now about working with others, pitching my ideas, and I will listen better to others – get more involved in what everyone is doing in a team, and how everyone can contribute. It has been a fantastic way to transition into the real world.

The Stonar leadership summit was an excellent opportunity to learn more about myself and meet many interesting people. The events at the conference helped me understand the type of leader I am and how to improve my leadership skills. On top of that, the connections I made with the other students taught me about different cultures and led to several friendships. We were also given the opportunity to learn about English culture, explore the historic city of Bath and see many of its most prominent landmarks. Overall, I was able to meet interesting people, visit a world heritage city, and learn more about myself and how to be an effective leader.

It was fantastic to see pupils from around the world gather here at Stonar and really get involved with the Student Leadership Summit. I was impressed with the level of engagement from all of the attendees and I truly believe that pupils left with a better understanding of the role of a leader and the confidence to be more effective as leaders in their own schools, and in society in the future.
