Our Study Abroad programme offers an enriching, confidence-building educational experience that will prepare your child for a bright future as a global citizen who can shape the world. Students will develop independence, and resilience as they explore different cultures and make new friends—perfect preparation for an international life beyond school.


Key Facts

  • Choose from 1 to 2 terms or a full academic year.

  • For students aged 11 to 14*.

  • Students must be proficient in English to study in the UK. For Andorra and Spain, a good level of Spanish and English will be required. Cyprus accepts all English proficiency levels based on a diagnostic test.

  • This programme is exclusively available to Globeducate students.

  • A comprehensive boarding experience that offers a supportive and immersive educational environment.

  • Limited places. Places subject to availability across the schools.

*12 - 14 for Agora Barcelona International School and PASCAL International Education.

Study Abroad Options

 

UK

National Curriculum of England

To make the most of the Study Abroad Programme, students must have a proficient level of English and an excellent behaviour record in their current school. Students will need to complete a language and academic assessment test.

Andorra & Spain

Spanish National Curriculum

To make the most of the study abroad programme, students must have an upper-intermediate level of Spanish and/or English (B2 level CEFR) and excellent behaviour record in their current school.

Cyprus

International Education

To make the most of the Study Abroad Programme, students must have an excellent behaviour record in their current school. Students will be asked to complete a diagnostic test so that the school can gauge the amount of support need in English language.


GENERAL INFORMATION

Study Abroad Programme Fees

The cost of our study programmes varies depending on the school and the duration of the stay. As a general guide, prices range from €9,180 to 13,212 (GBP) per term (price including boarding)*. Fees are exclusively for Globeducate students.

*Specific pricing details will be provided upon your child's acceptance into the programme.

What's Included?

Our comprehensive fees ensure that your child has everything needed for a successful and enriching school term:

  • Accommodation: Comfortable and secure housing on school grounds.
  • Meals: Three nutritious meals per day, plus snacks, all catered to dietary needs and preferences.
  • High-quality Academic Education
  • Afternoon Supervised Study & Homework
  • Clubs and Activities: A wide range of programmes designed to enrich the student experience. Please note, some specialised activities, such as the equestrian programme at Stonar, the winter ski programme in Agora Andorra International or an additional coaching at Agora International Barcelona, may incur further costs.

What's Not Included?

  • Flights and travel to and from the chosen school.
  • Travel & Health Insurance, Visas, and Legal Guardianship (only for the UK)
  • Additional Educational Support
  • Uniform requirements vary by school; assistance in acquiring uniforms may be available for study programme students.
  • Extra Activities: The winter ski programme at Agora Andorra International, the Equestrian programme at Stonar School, or the high-performance sports programmes at Agora International Barcelona.

 

 

 


How to apply

Applications are open between October and December 2024 for the 25/26 academic year and are on a first-come, first-served basis. Limited places are available, and they are subject to availability. Please enquire for further information.

Pre-application

The Study Abroad Manager will ask you to complete the Pre-application Form and check if there’s availability.
 

Enrolment process

 If successful a staff member of the Admissions Department of your chosen school will liaise with you directly to complete the admissions process.
