Colegio Peleteiro in Spain Joins Globeducate as Newest Member School

Colegio Peleteiro joins Globeducate's international network, bringing decades of educational tradition to a global project.
Globeducate announces the acquisition of Colegio Peleteiro in Santiago de Compostela, founded in 1951, and recently ranked as El Mundo’s third best school in Spain.

The school has built one of the most consistent records of academic excellence in Spain — ranked first nationally by El Mundo four times in the last decade, and never outside the Top 4. Its scores have reached 97 out of 100, placing it firmly among the country’s educational elite.

Colegio Peleteiro boasts a modern, environmentally sustainable, state-of-the-art campus and facilities include a residential boarding house, purpose-built Kindergarten complex; indoor swimming pool, modern library, large assembly hall, laboratories, covered and open-air patios for recreation, as well as a café and dining room. The school offers a top-tier education to 1,300 students.

Globeducate is a leading international K-12 education group with more than 65 leading bilingual and international schools and online programmes, serving more than 40,000 students across 11 countries. The group is well established in Spain and Andorra, with four British International schools in Vigo, A Coruña, Bilbao and Valencia, and nine International Spanish Curriculum Schools.
