English Gate School in Northern Italy Joins Globeducate

English Gate School in Cantù, Italy, has become the latest member of Globeducate, joining the group on 10th October 2023 and becoming our fifth Globeducate school in Italy.

This prestigious international school near Como for children aged one to 14 years old, offers an international environment where English language unites with Italian culture.

Founded in 2010, the school has approximately 250 students with small classes and a long history of families choosing to stay from Nursery to the end of Middle School. Students come from a diverse range of countries including Spain, France, Germany, the UK, USA, Canada, Greece, Switzerland and India. 

The school programme is based on the International Curriculum (IPC) and incorporates the Italian Ministerial Programme, accredited with parità status, to guarantee a truly bilingual and international education which enhances a knowledge of Italian language and culture. 

English Gate School welcomes students from Monza, Como, Saronno, Lecco and Switzerland and, at the same time, attracts highly qualified native speakers from all over the world.

A wide range of co-curricular activities stimulate students at English Gate School and ensure they develop skills and knowledge beyond the classroom, with clubs for coding, music, art, German language, sports and theatre.  Traditional values are balanced with a commitment to looking to the future.
