A flagship for private international education in the Valencian community
Agora Lledó International School was founded in 2001 as a centre for sport and education. The school joined Globeducate in 2006 and since then it has become one of the most well-respected and prestigious private international schools in the Valencian community.
Agora Lledó International School upholds the values that characterise all Globeducate schools and which are particularly relevant in a sporting forum, including self-discipline, motivation, teamwork, determination, cooperation and the advancement of individual skills and abilities. Sport at Agora Lledó plays a central role in both curricular and extra-curricular programmes and the centre has outstanding sports facilities, boasting a 25-metre swimming pool, full-sized football pitches, basketball courts and much more.
Agora Lledó International School also places great emphasis on each student’s musical and artistic development and has an integrated music centre for this purpose. The school has its own Music Academy, enabling our students to work towards the official Elementary Music Certificate. Should they choose to further extend their musical studies, pupils can go on to complete their Professional Music qualifications.
Agora Lledó’s student body is made up of students of many different nationalities and the school provides a benchmark for excellence in international education, offering a fully English/Spanish bilingual curriculum. Students have the opportunity to study the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) and can also follow the Spanish National Curriculum. As the school belongs to Globeducate, students are able to take advantage of a wide range of activity programmes and exchanges that help them to understand and embrace the multicultural characteristics of today’s global community.
Agora Lledó International School was the first school in Castellón authorised to deliver the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) at Post-16 level, and it is currently the first school in the province to be accepted as an applicant school for the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and the IB MIddle Years Programme (MYP).
