A school that promotes a love of learning

Established in 1918, Boundary Oak is a warm and welcoming co-educational day and boarding school for pupils aged 2 to 16, located on a picturesque 30-acre site in rural Hampshire, between Portsmouth and Southampton. Known for our strong values, high standards and deep-rooted sense of community, Boundary Oak is more than a school – it is a family.

At the heart of our ethos is the belief that happy children thrive. We are committed to nurturing the whole child, supporting their academic growth alongside their personal development. Pupils feel safe, valued and inspired to explore their passions, embrace new challenges, and become the best versions of themselves.

Our culture of kindness and mutual respect empowers pupils with the confidence to develop lifelong skills, friendships, and a love of learning. With a broad, balanced and skills-based curriculum – underpinned by our unique 7Rs framework – we ensure that every pupil is equipped to navigate the challenges of life beyond school. Whether in the classroom, on the sports field, in the arts or through our outstanding outdoor learning programme, our pupils flourish as resilient, curious, and capable learners.

Our home-from-home boarding house provides a secure and friendly environment where pupils of all ages forge lasting bonds and develop independence, with their well-being held in equal regard to their academic progress.

As a proud member of the international Globeducate group, Boundary Oak pupils benefit from opportunities to connect with peers across Europe, building a global outlook and cultural awareness that extends far beyond the school gates.

Boundary Oak is a place where values are lived, passions are pursued, and potential is realised – a school where every child flourishes, in learning, life and beyond.
