A strong ethical foundation and outstanding academic results
The International Community School (ICS) London was founded in 1979 on fundamental principles of freedom, democracy, respect and international inclusion. Originally conceived as an English school for the children of overseas diplomats and business people working in London, ICS grew rapidly developing into a fully fledged academic school.
In the mid-2000s, ICS introduced the International Baccalaureate into its curriculum, with a view to providing its students with a broad-based, academically challenging, international educational programme.
Today, ICS inspires students from 3 to 18 years old to become agile and independent thinkers, developing the passion, confidence and skills required for success in today’s global forum. The school has two campuses in London: the primary premises in Wyndham Place and the secondary school in nearby Star Street.
Achieving an average score of 36 points in the International Baccalaureate Diploma, the most prestigious universities in the world are accessible to ICS students. At all academic stages, even from the earliest years of education at ICS, the excellent teaching staff, cutting-edge methodologies and great resources available to ICS students enable them to achieve results that are far above the international average.
ICS joined Globeducate in 2017, and forms an integral part of Globeducate’s International Exchange Programme, participating fully in the international events organised by the group and welcoming students from all over the world to its residential summer school.
