Agora Sant Cugat International School was founded in 1972 with the opening of Agora Patufet nursery school. Thanks to the success of its dynamic and creative learning strategies, innovative methodologies and trilingual teaching the school grew and developed, opening its second campus in 1989. The school is known today as Agora Sant Cugat International School and provides an exceptional international education for more than 1500 students.
Agora Sant Cugat International School is ranked among the top ten schools in Spain. Thanks to the combination of its preschool (Agora Patufet Infant School) and main school campuses, the school can accept students from birth to 20 years old. Our students are offered an excellent education designed to maximise their academic and personal potential and prepare them to take their place within the international community.
An international approach is one of the core principles underpinning curriculum at Agora Sant Cugat and linguistic immersion is key to achieving this end. The three main working languages at Agora Sant Cugat are English, Catalan and Spanish, with further options to study German, French and Mandarin Chinese. Agora Sant Cugat offers two prestigious International Baccalaureate programmes in Primary School (PYP) and Baccalaureate (DP) and a wide range of exchange programmes and international activities are available to our students.
As well as infant education and Baccalaureate (including the widely recognised International Baccalaureate Diploma), Agora Sant Cugat International School has been offering a Vocational Training programme in Image and Sound since 2016. The visual and audio arts programmes are support by state of the art facilities, highly qualified teaching staff and excellent resources.
